Give $5 To Protect This

The latest Giving USA report found that only 4% of charitable giving supports environmental organizations. Yet the beaches, waterways, wildlife, and green spaces that make Lee County special depend on our care.

Through our Give $5 to Protect This campaign, a gift of just $5 helps support local cleanups, environmental education, tree plantings, and other programs that protect the places we all love. Together, we can make a lasting local impact one $5 gift at a time. Click here to donate now.

Brewing Positive Change

We are honored to receive a Neighborhood Grant from The Starbucks Foundation. Summer Learning, Lasting Impact

Our Education Specialist, Megan, has been visiting summer camps across Lee County, engaging campers with fun, hands-on lessons about recycling and protecting our environment. Thank you to all the camps for welcoming us and helping inspire the next generation of environmental stewards!

Champions for a Cleaner Coast

A big thank you to our Adopt-A-Shore group, the Coastal Cleanup Crew, for their continued commitment to keeping Little Hickory Beach clean. Their ongoing dedication helps protect our coastline, wildlife, and natural resources while making a lasting difference for our community. Email Sarah@klcb.org to get involved.

Community Pride in Action

Thank you to the Cape Coral Youth Council for their dedication to our Adopt-A-Road program. As their leader shared, "The Adopt-a-Road program is much more than simply picking up litter. It is an opportunity for the Cape Coral Youth Council to demonstrate leadership through service and show our community that we take pride in the city we represent."

Keep Lee County Beautiful, Inc., established in 1989, is the county’s largest volunteer-based community action and education organization. This local nonprofit forms public-private partnerships and programs that engage individuals to take greater responsibility for improving their community environments.
