Coalition Member Spotlight
|
April
April started her coalition journey by being a panelist for our Mental Health/Substance Use Town Hall event in May. After the event she came to multiple adult coalition meetings and voiced her perspectives and ideas. She has also been volunteering her time in the youth coalition by planning events, talking to community members, and much more in order to change substance misuse and mental health stigma in her community.
"My goal in working with the coalition is to empower and uplift the communities we serve by confronting the dangers of substance use that I see on the daily." - April

Want to take a break from an e-reader, but don’t want to spend the money on a book? Check out your local library! If they don’t have the book in stock, they can order out for you, at no cost.
