July Outreach & Community Engagement Highlights
During July, the UTRGV Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC) continued its mission of supporting veteran and military-connected entrepreneurs through training and outreach across Texas.
Business Advisor Manny Pruneda facilitated Boots to Business training at Randolph Air Force Base in San Antonio on July 7-8, while David Medrano conducted the program at Fort Bliss in El Paso on July 30-31.
On July 14, Manny Pruneda and David Medrano represented the VBOC at the UTRGV Business Resource Showcase in Edinburg, connecting with local entrepreneurs alongside community leaders Hidalgo County Judge Richard F. Cortez and Robert Reyes of the Edinburg EDC. These engagements reflect the VBOC's ongoing commitment to empowering entrepreneurs and strengthening Texas business communities.
