Hello Kathy,

School bells will be ringing soon, so let's make the best of what summer we have left!

We're kicking off our school year with a great Mixer at Jim Vreeland Ford. August 16th from 5-7pm. We hope you can join us for our end of summer party complete with California Taco, local beer and wine and I've heard they may be giving away a Bronco! Hope to see you there!

We have some great events coming up this fall, so be sure to check them out and mark your calendars.

Also, we have began sales for our Member Directory and Community Resource Guide. You may receive a call from Lure Creative, so please know they are working with our Chamber. This is a great opportunity to get you in front of our members and community. The guide will serve as a local resource guide and a relocation guide for when people move to our area. Get your business noticed in our guide.

Be sure to see what our members are up to and let us know if you have anything going on that we need to know about.

Thank you for your continued support!

Leadership Circle

A new membership structure

We have designed 5 new levels of membership that include a variety of benefits at each level. Rather than reaching out for sponsorship every time there is an event, we have developed ways for you to participate at every level. We feel this will streamline the process, save time, and provide you with the exposure you choose.

You will receive a letter with your invoice, when your membership comes due, that will cover all of these details. Please feel free to reach out at any time with questions. We look forward to serving you in a more simplified way and hope you find a level that works for your business.

Tips for this Month

August

Stormwater Tip of the Month

How can you reduce litter in your community? Make sure and use the designated trash and/or

recycling containers at our parks and public areas to dispose of your trash or take it home and

place it in your own trash or recycling bins. Keep your bins covered to keep trash from blowing

into your yard or the street. Let’s keep our community clean!

Water Conservation Tip of the Month

Summertime Outdoor Watering Tips: (1) Step on the grass and if it springs back, it doesn’t need

water; (2) Leave your grass long so it retains moisture and requires less watering; (3) Take a

sprinkler break, and let your grass grow naturally – it does not need to be green year-round. Visit

the EPA’s Water Sense website for more helpful watering tips.

Let's Link Up! Link our logo on your site
In the world of digital marketing, it is important to be linked to one another. As your Chamber and Visitors Bureau, we have you linked to our sites and ask you to do the same.

We ask our members to put a link to our Chamber site on your website.
If you are a tourism related business, then we'd love for you to put a link to our Discover Buellton site on your site as well.

I've provided the logos and links in the space to the right of this text.

Thank you in advance, together we can do more and together we can draw more awareness to your business and our community.
