Members of the Delaware State University Men's Basketball team visited our Milford Summer Fun Club program to run a comprehensive basketball clinic. Team members ran through drills while practicing skills and techniques with Club kids during their time together. The basketball clinic was a highlight of the Summer Fun Club program, and a favorite activity of many Club members.

NBA star "Bones" Hyland, a Wilmington native and H. Fletcher Brown Club alumnus, visited our Club members to offer words of encouragement and to inspire them to chase their dreams. He spoke of the impact of the Club on his journey, and encouraged listeners, saying "You've got to work hard. Listen to your parents. Listen to your coaches." Before leaving, he signed many autographs and took pictures with Summer Fun Club attendees.
