Welcome Yi Zheng
Bringing an abundance of industry experience along with a generous amount of research expertise, Yi Zheng is the newest assistant professor to join the department.

Congratulations to our very own graduate student, Yanting (Tina) Shen, on receiving the 2018 Outstanding Doctoral Student Scholarship Award from the Institute of Food Technologists.
Alumni Spotlight
Emily Melander currently serves as the quality assurance lead for NutriQuest LLC. In this position, Melander is responsible for maintaining compliance within all federal and state regulations.

"When I started at K-State, I thought I wanted to pursue a career in an entirely different field. I soon realized that I needed to stick to my passions for agriculture and helping feed the world."

Friends and Alumni Golf Tournament
The tournament is hosted by the Bakery Science Club and all proceeds will be used for equipment updates in the baking labs. 

The $100 per person fee includes a cart, greens fees and dinner provided by Blue Hills Catering. There will be golf games on the course and an auction after dinner .
