The summer of 2020 may go down as one of the most memorable summers we've ever had...and as usual, our WSSD community has creatively figured out ways to make the best of it.

We have spent much of our summer with Alphie's new puppy, Sunny. She is a wheaten Scottish terrier and as cute and fun as--well, as a puppy :).

Beck is a rising 10th grader and 15 years old.
He has been an LiT (Leader in Training) at the YMCA since he was 13. He has stuck with it all summer and has won many honors for the four pillars of the program: Responsibility, Honesty, Caring, and Respect. He has been asked to return full-time next summer as a counselor and is looking forward to continuing his efforts and earning some money in the process.
We're so proud of Beck and the young man he has become and we believe his Waldorf Education has been a major positive influence on how he presents himself with such honor and integrity in this program. Allison B

NOW ENROLLING IN ALL PROGRAMS! LIMITED SCHOOL TOURS AVAILABLE!
Now, more than ever, enrollment is vital to the forward movement and growth of our school community. Julie has spent the entire summer connecting with over 40 new families interested in joining our school. We have already done individual family tours for more than 30 of those families and as a result new applications are steadily coming in and new families are completing enrollment.
WE NEED YOUR HELP! We greatly appreciate all the new families you've referred to our school, so please continue to tell your friends, family, neighbors and co-workers about our school. We are actively enrolling across all grades, with 14 new applications already in process! We are still accepting new applications for Nursery and Kindergartens (placement is filling fast) and the Early Childhood programs will open on campus September 3rd!
Julie is available to speak to any new family with questions so please email her at admissions@waldorfsandiego.org. It is helpful to have the child's name and exact birthdate and then Julie can sent them everything they need, and arrange an individual family tour. We are open and ready to receive new families seeking a Waldorf education!
