Your chamber is hosting political forums this month, on the 19th, 20th, and 21st! These informational forums are a great opportunity for you to get to know the candidates running for office. Check the link below for the full schedule.

See Our Progress | Work Ready Communities
Around this time last year, the Work Ready Communities initiative was launched in Acadiana, and Iberia Parish was chosen to lead the movement. We are incredibly proud to report that over 1,450 individuals now carry a NCRC certification, and the initiative is now supported by over 65 employers in Iberia Parish!

Very Berry Christmas Quest
The annual Very Berry Christmas Quest is officially underway! This promotional opportunity for local businesses is a great way to get people in your business during the holiday season. Click the link below for more information!

Businesses are also welcome to provide items for each goody bag for the event. You do not have to host an activity to provide a coupon/item. If you'd like to provide an item, let us know! Contact the chamber office.

We anticipate around 130 goody bags this year. Please drop off items at the chamber office between November 1st and November 11th.

Every fall, the nominating committee begins the search for potential board members, keeping in mind diversity in industry is of top consideration.

ICCHC Community Fun Day Health Fair (open to the public)
Next week is National Health Center Week and Iberia Comprehensive Community Health Center is celebrating with week-long activities at their various locations! The event you won't want to miss is Community Fun Day Health Fair, at the ICCHC's New Iberia location. The event is taking place on Wednesday at 3:00pm, at 806 Jefferson Terrace! If you aren't able to attend, you can donate your time, merchandise, or money to support the event also. You can find more information at the link below.


Delcambre Seafood and Farmer's Market
The Delcambre Seafood & Farmers Market will be held on Saturday, August 3 from 9am to 1pm at Bayou Carlin Cove Boat Landing & Pavilion, 605 S Railroad in Delcambre. Fresh shrimp and crabs will be on sale along with homemade products from 60 local vendors. This month, crabs will be featured as the Twin Parish Port Commission will roll out a new crab meat label under it's Vermilion Bay Sweet Brand of local seafood products. Click the link below to visit their website.

Good News from the Cardiovascular Institute of the South
Cardiovascular Institute of the South was awarded the #1 Telehealth Provider for Cardiology by InTouch Health. Also, CIS nurse practitioner, Marcus Montet, was named the #1 individual Provider for Cardiology. View the press release at the link below!
