Greetings from the Education Committee!

Our fantastic team has been hard at work putting together engaging programs for our MPI New Jersey community.

The August Education Program was hosted at The MC Hotel in Montclair on August 28th and was a fantastic event focused on the world of travel and international meeting planning.

The event kicked off with insider perspectives on the airline and travel industries. Our speaker shared invaluable insights into the latest trends, safety protocols, and operational challenges facing aviation and travel. The second half of the program delved into the nuances of international event planning with a panel of seasoned industry veterans who guided us through strategies for using CVB's and DMC's, navigating customs brokers and shipping, and much more!

After the education event, a meet-up was held in the Allegory Restaurant, at The MC Hotel. Sponsored by Mexico MICE suppliers, the evening included a themed menu and the opportunity to visit with each of the suppliers for a chance to win a grand prize trip to Mexico.

Coming up this fall, we have an exciting October Education Program in the works at MetLife Stadium. Mark your calendars for the evening of Tuesday, October 15! We’ll explore large-scale event planning and enjoy a site tour of this iconic venue.

And last, but certainly not least, the committee is also beginning to plan the 2025 MEETS Conference. We’re looking forward to taking this signature event to new heights!

MPI New Jersey's Virtual Auction Fundraiser is back! Bidders can walk away with extraordinary items such as hotel stays, golf packages, gift certificates, and more just in time for holiday gift-giving!

As a non-profit, MPI-New Jersey counts on your support in our fundraising efforts so we may continue providing innovative education programs and networking opportunities to our community.

Want to get involved?

1. Donate an auction item: Complete the form here to confirm your donation of an auction item. (All donations must be received by November 1st.) 
2. Share the opportunity to donate with your favorite suppliers and ask them to support your favorite industry association.
3. Bid on items once the auction is live: the auction will be live from November 18th to December 2nd with a preview of items starting on November 11th. The auction link will be available during the auction preview dates.
