Good afternoon citizens of Orem!

Did you know that Orem City has a Resident Resource Page? Many organizations offer services and assistance to residents in Orem. On the Orem website https://orem.org/residentresources/  there are a few popular and time-sensitive resources. You can find a more extensive list of names, services, and other information for organizations and programs on this website. Here are some areas of resources offered that may be helpful to you or someone you know: physical/mental health, dental care, food and other basic needs, health care, physical therapy, senior services, suicide prevention, and much much more.

Additionally, there is a Housing, Financial and Employment section that offers resources for employment, financial counseling, home repair and improvement, landlord services, rental and mortgage assistance, safehouses for victims, tax assistance, unemployment benefits and utility assistance. You will also find many other resources including links to citizenship, legal services, senior services and much, much more.

School District Split
On August 2nd, the City Council voted to put the question of creating an Orem City school district on the November ballot. We encourage everyone to learn about the issue and get out and vote this November.
Concerts in the Park
The summer concerts in the park series is coming to an end. Join us at City Center Park Friday Aug 19 and Saturday Aug 20 for two evenings of jam packed fun!

Farmers Market
Every Wednesday from 5 - 9 pm join us in City Center Park for fruits, veggies, food trucks, art, buskers, and community!

There has been an uptick in unleashed dogs in public areas. For everyone's safety please remember to leash your dogs when you are out and about.

Public Art Program
We are looking for submissions for Orem's Public Art program!

If you are an artist and want to see your art vinyl wrapped onto an Orem utility box, submit your prospective art at orem.org/public-art
Orem Skate Park
Did you know that Orem has a skate park? Mero the Mammoth hit it up last week and had tons of fun!

Library Programs & Events
Celebrate Provo River Day with us at the Orem Library on Monday, August 8. We'll have a water-themed storytime in the morning, birds of prey and live animal shows in the evening, and an activity hour with hands-on, water-themed activities and displays. There will be no regular storytime or teen/tween events during August, but we'll be back in September!
