After 25 years of wear, this client decided it was time for a "make over" of her ruby & diamond engagement ring,
which Diamonds On The Key owner, Christina Termine, original designed for the proposal! To celebrate the couple's 25th wedding anniversary, a new bold byzantine style setting was created with a wide uniform shank and granulated beaded detail, using computer imaging. Upon approval of the design, a wax mold was then made for the client to try on for size and scale, prior to casting the new design in gold. The beautiful central ruby, flanked by matched pear shape diamonds, was then reset into new substantially thicker bezels, in keeping with the original design. A matte finished was applied to the center surface of the ring, creating a contrast to the high polished bezels and beaded detail. The client's original ruby & diamond wedding band was sized and polished, to be worn together with the new ring.
Another very happy customer!!!
