Mark Receives a Home

A big congratulations to Mark* for receiving a housing voucher that has afforded him a new place to live. A place of his own. His own bathroom, his own bedroom and kitchen, his own private space.

Previously, Mark lived in and out of homeless shelters for years while battling mental illness and alcohol addiction. Once diagnosed, he was able to receive proper care and begin a road to sobriety. Next month he celebrates three years of living clean and sober!

The Sparrow House team had the pleasure of helping Mark settle into his new home and prepare the space for healthy living. When we asked Mark what is ahead for him in this new chapter, he responded "I want to focus on being a great dad to my daughter, to keep moving forward, and to live a Godly life."

Sparrow House Outreach Center Coming Soon!

Sparrow House Outreach has been growing and expanding, and we’re thrilled to announce that we will soon be opening an outreach center in Mendham! This space will serve as our central hub—where meals are prepared, donations are stored, and our administrative work takes place.

Since our launch in late 2023, our organization has steadily grown, and this new center represents the next step in serving families and individuals facing homelessness and poverty. We look forward to welcoming volunteers in a variety of roles and will be sharing opportunities to get involved.

We are deeply grateful for the continued support of our donors, volunteers, and community partners—you make this growth possible!

Toiletries Amnesty provides access to toiletries and hygiene products for 7.45 million people in need around the world. We are grateful to regularly receive packages of highly needed items for our friends in Newark.
