Register for summer reading (adults, kids, tweens, teens). This link will be available all summer long, register at any time.

Don't forget to come by the library for your reading log. If you're doing Read and Bead, pick out a chain and brag tag too!
Kids (Ages 0-12): Read and Bead. Earn beads all summer long! Every 15 minutes earns you a bead. Save up your time to get bigger and cooler beads. After registering please stop by the library - starting on June 9th - to pick up your reading log, brag tag, and chain to start your read and bead necklace.
Tween (rising 4-6th graders): Choose your adventure: Read and Bead or a Tween Raffle. Earn beads by the minute or earn raffle tickets by the book! Put your tickets toward trying to win exciting prizes.
Teens (rising 7-12th graders): Teen Raffle. Earn a raffle ticket for each book you read to try and win prizes.
Adults (Ages 19+): For every book read, please fill out a raffle ticket to enter to win a prize basket.
All prizes are sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

Tuesdays, August 5th, 12th, and 19th
6:00-8:00pm
Bring food, blankets, pillows and get comfy for a family-friendly movie.
Open to all ages.
Please note: these are not drop-off programs and adults must also attend.
August 5th: Sonic 3 (PG, 109 minutes) Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails reunite against a powerful new adversary, Shadow, a mysterious villain with powers unlike anything they have faced before.
August 12th: Dog Man (PG, 93 minutes)
When a dog and a police officer are injured together on the job, a life-saving surgery changes the course of history. Half dog, half man, Dog Man is sworn to protect and serve as he doggedly pursues his arch-nemesis: the feline supervillain Petey the Cat.
August 19th: Moana 2 (PG, 100 minutes)
Moana 2 reunites Moana and Maui three years later for an expansive new voyage alongside a crew of unlikely seafarers. After receiving an unexpected call from her wayfinding ancestors, Moana must journey to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she’s ever faced.

Registrants will need to bring a paperback copy of the book they would like to bedazzle.

A fun, themed book box for adults! Each box will have a themed book(s) and some goodies. You get to keep the goodies, but the books do need to be returned. Boxes will be available for pick up the 2nd Tuesday of each month and you will have one week to pick up.

Come celebrate the Dead's 60th anniversary!
The Grateful Dead Movie, released in 1977 and directed by Jerry Garcia, is a film that captures live performances from rock band the Grateful Dead during an October 1974 five-night run at Winterland in San Francisco.

What is a Memory Café? A Memory Café is a welcoming social gathering for people living with memory changes or dementia, and their caregivers, offering a safe and supportive environment for interaction, activities, and connection.
Join the Council on Aging and Norfolk Public Library for crafts, music, games,
photo/memory sharing, fitness, and other interactive activities.
