What's Coming to Your Neighborhood
From major corridors to neighborhood streets, the Rancho Cordova Public Works team is hard at work upgrading roads across the city. Here’s a look at the work happening around Rancho Cordova.

Countryside Neighborhood Street Rehabilitation Phase Two: This project will rehabilitate streets in the Countryside neighborhood. In addition to improving roadways, this project will also include updated drainage infrastructure and high-visibility markings on the roadway. Construction is currently underway and is estimated to be completed at the end of August 2026.

Neighborhood Traffic Management Program (NTMP), Phases Seven and Eight: Phases Seven and Eight of the NTMP will bring traffic calming improvements to Bridlewood Drive, Borderlands Drive, Canyonlands Drive, and White Rock Road. These projects are designed to reduce vehicle speeds and enhance neighborhood safety. Both phases are scheduled to begin in September 2026.

South White Rock Road and Stone Creek Surface Treatment Project: This project includes pavement repairs and surface treatments, updated striping and bike lane markings, and other safety enhancements on South White Rock Road and throughout the Stone Creek neighborhood. Improvements are designed to improve roadway conditions and extend the life of neighborhood streets. This project started in August and is expected to be completed later in Fall 2026.

Free Pet Vaccine & Microchip Clinic Dates for 2026
The City of Rancho Cordova Animal Services Division is offering free drive-thru rabies vaccines and microchips for pets belonging to Rancho Cordova residents throughout 2026. Appointments are required and open two weeks prior to each clinic date. Clinics are held from 8 AM - 12 PM at Neighborhood Services, 2880 Gold Tailings Court.
