A Note From Dean Jermyn

As we begin a new academic year, our campus is energized with the arrival of the Class of 2029. Their orientation and White Coat Ceremonies marked not only the start of their medical school journey but also the continuation of SOM’s proud tradition of excellence. It is inspiring to see the determination, hope and ambition our students bring to campus, and I am grateful to all who helped create such meaningful experiences to welcome them.

My best regards,

Richard T. Jermyn, D.O.

Dean

Create Your Own Notebook

On July 30, the Sewell and Stratford campuses got creative as Student Doctors kicked off the new academic year. To start the journey on an inspiring note, students designed their own personalized notebooks. Whether used as a journal, agenda, meal prep log, workout tracker or all of the above, these notebooks reflect each student’s goals, mindset and motivation for the year ahead.

Mister Softee Ice Cream Truck Visits Sewell

Faculty, staff and students enjoyed a sweet break when the Mister Softee ice cream truck stopped by the Sewell campus on August 13. The event brought colleagues together to enjoy ice cream and conversation.

Commissioner Visit to the Sewell Campus

Students joined Commissioner Jim Jefferson of the Gloucester County Board of Commissioners on the Sewell campus to place flags in remembrance of lives lost to substance abuse this past year. The tribute served as a moving reminder that every life matters.
