Wichita State students invent remote health care monitoring software

A team of biomedical engineering students from Wichita State University has invented Mobile HealthLink, a remote health monitoring system that allows physicians to check on patients via a programmable smartwatch. The team has finished a working prototype and are in the process of improving the online interface and mobile app.

Wichita State University's self-funded organization, Ennovar, recently announced a $600,000 partnership with California-based tech firm PassFail LLC, a subsidiary of Social Networking Technology, Inc. The unique partnership creates new jobs for university grads, and it also generates revenue for the school in the form of company stock for every new hire culled from the campus.  Read more...
