Summer Reading August Prize

This is your last chance to turn in raffle tickets for the August Cozy Prize! The drawing will be held on Tuesday, August 8th at 7pm. The winner will be contacted via phone and email. All raffle tickets must be turned in before the drawing to be eligible.


You can also win prizes until August 8th by participating in the Summer Reading program, see the packet for more information. Books, ebooks, audiobooks, and graphic novels all count as summer reading material!

To close our 2023 Summer Reading Program we are hosting two foam parties! We will have a giant foam machine to help us celebrate another successful year of summer reading fun and activities. Learn more.

Read-In at the Library Followed by Billie the Dog

Wednesday, August 2 | 11am-2pm


We invite friends and family to come to the library to read or listen to your own books in a comfortable shared space. Refreshments are included.


Starting at 1pm, you can read with Billie the Dog! Sign-up for 15 minute time slots to read to Billie at the start of the Read In. Learn more.

Beading Bonanza

Saturday, August 12 | 3pm-5pm


If you've ever thought about jewelry making, but didn't know where to start, join us at this beading bonanza! We will provide supplies and instructions for starter projects. All skill levels are welcome. Learn more.

Dungeons and Dragons

August 6 | 2pm-4pm

August 13 | 2pm-4pm


Come with us on a magical adventure to test your problem solving and imagination in a fantasy setting as we learn to play Dungeons and Dragons! Learn more.

Creativity Workshop

These creativity workshops provide an opportunity to bring together tweens and teens to share new and innovative ideas in an open and supportive environment. Join us in the Library Lab for crafting and art workshops. No art or crafting skills are necessary. Learn more.

Teen Advisory Board (T.A.B.)

2nd Tuesdays and 4th Thursdays

September-May | 5pm


A group of teens who help decide which books, movies, and games will be added to the library and what programs will be offered. It is open to students in grades 6-12. Learn more.

New display in the YA section


Books that have not been checked out in a long time get weeded from the collection to make room for fun new reads. 


Check out some of the books on the chopping block to see if we should keep them. Look for them in the YA stacks with sad bookmark friends.
