Eight-year-old Jackson Haag has spent the last 11 weeks at Bronson Children's Hospital after doctors discovered he has cancer in his brain that has spread down his spine. After six surgeries, Jackson is now receiving chemotherapy and radiation five days a week.
Bronson care teams understand what a physically and mentally draining time this is for Jackson and his family, and are there to do everything they can to make the experience better.
Child life specialists, and art and music therapists help patients to cope with their emotions, understand their medical care, and take their mind off of things during long days at the hospital.
These services are supported by funds raised during our annual Bronson Children's Hospital Run & Walk. We hope you'll consider signing up for the Sunday, September 25 event, fundraise, and/or make a donation.
Help us show patients like Jackson that they have a community of supporters rooting them on!
