We are honored to receive a $10,000 grant from The 'Quin Impact Fund in support of our mission to help survivors of domestic violence heal and thrive. This generous investment will strengthen our comprehensive, survivor-centered services, including legal services, intervention and advocacy, and prevention education, helping more individuals and families build lives free from abuse. Thank you to The 'Quin Impact Fund for partnering with us to create safer, healthier communities.

Thank You Massachusetts Bar and Boston Bar Foundations!

We are deeply grateful to the Massachusetts Bar Foundation and Boston Bar Foundation for their continued investment in The Second Step! Their commitment to expanding access to justice has fueled the expansion of our Legal Services Program, ensuring more survivors can access high-quality legal advocacy and representation.

These latest grants will allow us to provide critical legal support to more survivors so they can move forward safely and confidently. Together, we are building safer, more supportive communities where survivors can heal and thrive.

A Day at Fenway Park!

The Second Step had a fantastic time at Fenway Park on July 1st, where we connected with more than 200 community members at our information table. Visitors learned about our services, tested their knowledge with our interactive Relationship Reality Check game, and picked up resources and giveaways. After a successful day of outreach and meaningful conversations, our team celebrated with hot dogs, ice cream, and a Red Sox game! Thank you to the Commissioners Communtity Initiative for tickets to the game and the Red Sox Foundation for helping us share our mission!

Prevention Education in the Community

This summer, The Second Step's Prevention Education team has been busy building partnerships, providing training, and raising awareness throughout our community. Recent highlights include Brookline's National Night Out, the launch of our summer series with Northeastern University's Community Voices group, and the National Organization for Victim Advocacy (NOVA) Conference, where Stacy and Kaitlyn presented!

Coming up, you can find us at:

  • Fan Expo - August 7-9
  • Boston Tattoo Convention - September 18-20
  • Start Anew Clinic - September 23

We look forward to connecting with community members, sharing resources, and promoting healthy relationships at each of these events! Learn more and inquire.
