OCEDP hosted two open houses in August  for house #5. House #5 was drawn for August 15th!

We are excited to have another happy homeowner on Abbeydell Pike!

House #6 is soon to be completed, keep an eye out for an open house announcement coming soon! (We're hopeful for the last week of September)

Melton Maker Space-

Melton Public Library

OCEDP partnered with the Melton Public Library last fall to incorporate a 3D printer into the library activities. 

Last month during the summer reading challenge, kids were able to come in and experience the 3D printer in action crafting bookmarks for everyone!

OCEDP Executive Director, Kristal Painter was invited to participate as a panelist at the RURAL LISC seminar in Washington D.C. in July. Kristal provided information on the partnership for Orange County Workforce Housing and the efforts being made locally.

Vail Resorts is investing heavily in its strongest asset this season – its team members, by increasing employee pay and leadership development opportunities, and investing in affordable employee housing and other employee benefits and perks. Additionally, the company is making a bold investment in many exciting lift upgrades across its resorts to help guests move up and around the mountain faster and more easily. This includes 18 new chairlifts and gondolas, as well as a restaurant upgrade and snowmaking investments – all which are on track to open this season.
