SITES RESERVOIR: A MORE SUSTAINABLE WATER SUPPLY
We are proud to support Sites Reservoir, which will provide a more sustainable water supply for all of California. With a capacity of 1.5 million acre-feet, Sites is an essential part of California’s comprehensive Water Supply Strategy to ensure the state is more resilient and resistant to changing climate conditions. Located 10 miles west of the town of Maxwell in rural Glenn and Colusa counties, Sites Reservoir would capture and store water from the Sacramento River during high flows and release it to California’s communities, farms, and environment in dry periods when it’s needed the most.
