Before School Starts

Please be sure to submit the following forms before school starts.

You may either submit a hard copy or email the forms to kristingrant@themarloweschool.com.



1. Signed Parent/Guardian Handbook (Please initial each page.)


2. Updated Immunization Form 3231 for ALL Children


3. Form 3300 (Hearing/Dental/Vision/Health Screening) for all children five and older


4. Emergency Medical Forms 

Food Notes
  • Candy and foods containing peanuts and/or tree nuts are not permitted. 


  • Please be sure to slice all hotdogs, baby carrots, grapes, and cherry tomatoes lengthwise to prevent choking.

  • Popcorn is a choking hazard for young children and should not be sent to school.
Pick-Up and Drop-Off

Please read these notes carefully and share with anyone who will be picking up your child. Not following carpool guidelines can lead to carpooling backups and safety concerns.

  • Even if the lot is empty when you enter, please be sure to park in a designated space and refrain from parking in our neighbor's lots, even if they appear empty.

 

  • Please walk your child up the stairs to the front entrance each morning. 


  • When walking in the parking lot, please make sure you hold your child’s hand at all times. As much as possible, do not walk behind vehicles. 


  • In the afternoon, a teacher will walk your child out to the car. Please make sure your child is secured in their car seat before leaving the lot.

 

  • Please refrain from using your cell phone and exit the parking lot immediately after dropping off/picking up your child.

 

  • If the parking lot is full when you arrive, please queue on Miami Circle until a space becomes available. Give exiting cars the right of way.

 

  • Late pickup fees are as follows: Children who are picked up 10 minutes or more after the end of their class will be charged $1.50 per minute for the first thirty minutes and $2 minute after that.

Program Information

What to Bring Each Day

1. Shoes your child can put on and take off independently (and optional grippy socks)


2. Book bag large enough to contain change of clothes and all outerwear (raincoat, sweater, hats, etc.)


3. Snack and Lunch

  • Snack should be placed in a paper/reusable bag (not loose in the lunch box or book bag) and contain one food item and two paper/reusable napkins.
  • Lunch should be in a separate, insulated bag and contain two napkins.


4. A resealable, leak-proof water bottle that is easy for your child to open and close independently


5. Change of clothes including underwear and (grippy) socks
