Happy August! We are so excited about all of the upcoming spring events. Most of the events and programs below require an RSVP, so please read carefully and secure your spot!

This 60-minute vinyasa class will begin with a short meditation. Participants can expect to hold poses for 2-7 breaths, both seated and standing. Though weight-bearing poses will be taught, modifications will be offered! All level adults should feel encouraged and empowered to attend. The class will end with an 8-minute Savasana.

She will offer classes on August: 3,17, and 31st!

Join us Friday, August 4th in the Raleigh room for a Homebrew class hosted by Wake Technical Community College. In this course, you'll learn everything you need to know about making beer right in the comfort of your own home. During the class session, we'll cover the fundamentals of home brewing, starting with the basics of beer ingredients and the brewing process. We'll discuss the different types of malt, hops, yeast, and water used to make beer and how they're selected to achieve different styles and flavors. We'll also discuss equipment options and walk through the process of brewing a batch of beer on your own. In addition, we'll provide an abbreviated demonstration of some key brew day procedures. So grab a glass and join us for a fun and informative journey into the world of home brewing!

Calling all Wendell kiddos! Join us in the Raleigh Room on Tuesday, August 8, at 10:30 am in the Raleigh Room for our monthly kid's STEM class.

Join us in the Raleigh Room Thursday, August 10th for an informative seminar. The North Carolina Botanical Gardens’ collections manager and seed program coordinator, Heather Summer will talk about native plants for the Southeast and their importance in your yard. Wake County Master Gardener Karen

DiDonato will present “Super Pollinators - Simple Ways to Attract and Maintain Native Backyard Bee Populations”.  There will be drawings for selected native plants. We will also have literature available on the topics discussed. 

Join us Friday, August 11 at 11:00 am in the Raleigh Room for an informational discussion on the benefits of superfoods. We will discuss healthy nutritional choices hosted by Radiant Nutrition of Wendell. Come out for some fun samples, parfaits, and a raffle!

Enjoy a powerful and centering full being flow outside the lakeside at Wendell Falls. Located outside behind the clubhouse. Bring your mat and water and prepare for a beautiful all-level yoga flow. All are welcome for a beautiful connecting experience.

Join us Tuesday, August 15 at 6:00pm in the Raleigh Room for a family fun craft night! (Ages 12 and Up) During this introduction to beginner's wood-burning class, you will learn how to transfer a design onto your project of choice, then burn your design. Making a keepsake or gift you can cherish. You will be creating your own bookmarks to take home with you. All supplies are provided for you. 

Participants will have 3-4 templates to choose from, or the option to customize if you prefer. If you have a custom request please email deesburnttrees@gmail.com and I will print out your request, please give at least 48hrs notice to ensure it’s ready for class.

Lake Myra Elementary School is hosting an event for prospective volunteers from the Wendell Falls Community. 

Join us for an informational session on all of our volunteer needs and a tour of the school.

They will offer 2 different time sessions 11 am/6 pm

Join us for a fun evening under the stars Friday, August 25! The event will be hosted by the HOA and the Town of Wendell! Please bring your friends, family, and favorite blanket or lawn chair, and let's get cozy under the stars as we watch Kung Fu Panda at the Pavilion. The movie will start at dusk. Farmhouse Café will sell hot dogs, popcorn, and box candies! Mama Birds Ice Cream will also be onsite!

Help us save lives on Sunday, August 27, from 11:00 am- 4:00 pm by donating blood. The blood drive will take place outside the Farmhouse, so reserve your spot below. Each donor will receive $60 in rewards! Each blood donation saves up to 3 lives! 

Curious about the history of coffee, where it comes from, and how it’s processed and roasted? Come learn and sample some different coffees from our resident coffee roasting company, Workbench Roasters! Join us in the Raleigh Room Sunday, August 27th at 11:00 am!!
