Time by the waters

""Color in a Picture is like Enthusiasm in Life" — Vincent Van Gogh

Wherever you are, I hope you're staying safe through the heatwaves, storms, or wildfire smoke. It seems like it's been an intense summer everywhere!

Despite the dry weather and drought here in New Mexico, things have been peaceful at home. I’ve loved spending time in my yard this past month—pulling weeds, trimming trees, and planning new landscape priojects.

To escape the heat, I joined the Santa Fe Pleinarians to paint along the Jemez River (shown above and below). It was such a lush, green, and refreshing treat for the soul.

Rehoboth, Delaware  — Visiting Family & Friends!

I'm heading back to Delaware to spend time with family and friends! My mother now lives in Rehoboth near my sister and brother-in-law, and I'm really looking forward to the visit—as well as checking out the Rehoboth Outdoor Art Show.

This show holds a special place in my heart—I exhibited there for 21 consecutive years before moving West. I’m so excited to walk through as a visitor this time and reconnect with familiar faces!

Heartland

Plein Air Festival

I'm excited to announce that I'll be participating as one of 24 invited artists for the inaugural year of this brand-new event!

Believe it or not, I’ve never been to the Omaha, Nebraska area, so I’m really looking forward to a great road trip this September.
