Summer is in full swing here at the Museum of Art. We invite you to visit East-Northeast: Charting Moments in Maine, four new exhibitions featuring the work of Rudy Burckhardt, Ann Craven, John McKee, and Gordon Parks. Each of these projects centers artworks created in Maine over the past eighty years that have been little seen in the past. Also, be sure to join us on August 7th at 7 pm for a special outdoor screening of a series of films by Rudy Burckhardt, which will be followed by discussion and Q&A with filmmaker Jacob Burckhardt and artist Tom Burckhardt. In this issue, we celebrate the recent donation of eighteen photographs by Mark Power ‘59 and a series of recent loans from the BCMA to major national exhibitions.

See you at the Museum!
