Happy August! We invite you to tour the many exciting exhibitions that are now on view at the Museum of Art, including People Watching: Contemporary Photography since 1965 and Mina Loy: Strangeness Is Inevitable. Also, be sure to see Emilie Stark-Menneg’s Supernatural before that installation closes on August 20. This month we are celebrating the opening of a new exhibition that brings together the only three extant paintings in grisaille by the famed sixteenth-century Italian artist Pontormo, as well as an assortment of related works from that period. Finally, we want to thank the nine students who interned at the Museum this summer.
