We’ll be walking from the Lawrence Street entrance to the first pedestrian bridge and back. The walk is about a mile round-trip and we will keep the pace leisurely with frequent stops to observe the flora and fauna.

This serene 22-acre sanctuary features diverse habitats including meadows, wetlands, heathland, and forest. There are many flora and fauna to observe and photograph, especially when we pause to take in the scenery and become more mindful of our surroundings.

LP&CT's First Road Race!

We're hosting our first road race in Lowell — Run for Nature!

5k Run/Walk

10k Run (two laps)

1-mile Kids Fun Run/Walk

Run for Nature will feature a unique course through Shedd Park and Rogers Fort Hill Park as well as a segment along the Concord River Greenway. The event will include educational displays, fun children’s activities, live animals, and light refreshments.

Run for Nature will support LP&CT’s education programs and access to nature for all. The course map, registration, and sponsorship information are available through our website. Please consider volunteering, sponsoring, or participating in the race!
