All of these HSC babies have been here for more than 100 days and are patiently waiting to be adopted. We need your help to find homes for these three and officially disband the

14k Heart of Gold Challenge!

Here at HSC, we know that all animals have a heart of gold. We also know our donors have hearts of gold, especially our loyal PAW-tomatic monthly supporters!
We're issuing a challenge to all current monthly donors to increase their monthly giving by 14% in honor of our 14K Heart of Gold promotion
. All donation increases will be matched up to $5,000 by a generous donor.

1,000 cats is hard to visualize, but that's how many cats our Community Cat Coordinator has brought in through our Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) program since August 2017!
As amazing as this is, she can't do it alone! You, too, can help the cats in your neighborhood by taking advantage of our TNR and Trap Rental programs. Currently, all Mecklenburg County residents can bring cats in for surgery at NO COST!

Mark your calendars to help HSC deliver warm straw to our community members this December! Straw helps prep outdoor dog houses for chilly weather and keeps things dry. We'll be looking for 90 volunteers to help out - bonus points if you have a pick-up truck or trailer to help haul straw!
