What to Feed Your Cat?
Cats, unlike dogs are obligate carnivores which means they need to eat meat to thrive and survive. Taurine is an amino acid that is found in animal products such as eggs, dairy, meat and fish. Organ meats are excellent sources of taurine. Up to 50% of the taurine is lost during the cooking process so pet food makers add taurine to their canned food and kibble. For this reason, we advocate a raw diet for cats. It can be frozen or dehydrated and is available from several trusted makers of pet food. We like the idea of feeding rabbit as regular part of your cat's diet because it is something that a cat would naturally eat.
We currently carry dehydrated & frozen Stella & Chewy's, frozen Nature's Variety and Answers raw cat food at Larry's. We are also happy to order any other raw diet that you desire. A raw diet is an excellent diet for your dog too!
