| | WPHCA Communication and Advocacy PLN in Eau Claire | |
On July 24–25, 2025, our Project Manager for Advocacy and Community Relations attended the WPHCA Communication and Advocacy PLN in Eau Claire, WI.
The event featured a compelling dialogue with Wisconsin State Representative Jodi Emerson, who underscored the critical importance of affordable housing, stating: “If you don’t have it, nothing else matters.” She also highlighted the power of storytelling in advocacy, reminding attendees that while data can be debated, personal stories resonate most deeply.
Participants also took part in an engaging session with Jonah Justice, whose work focuses on building community and capacity to address the root causes of poverty and injustice.
The gathering offered valuable insights and strategies for strengthening trust and credibility in today’s complex political landscape.
