Summer Series - Flowers with Sass
When I first entered the store, a family stood at the counter trying to place an order for flowers that would best honor their mother and grandmother. The family began overwhelmed, but I watched as Tassie Smith, owner of Flowers with Sass, carefully walked them through the steps of choosing the perfect arrangements. Tassie was thoughtful in all the details – highlighting the colors and flowers their mother loved best, while taking note of any flowers that she would not have enjoyed.

Delta Leadership Insitute Session 4 - Infrastructure

Brooke Simmons attended the Delta Leadership Institute Session 4 in Memphis, TN on June 12-15. The session theme was centered around infrastructure in the Mississippi Delta. The class spent the week learning new skills to take back to their own communities within the delta region. The Tennessee Delta Leadership Alumni hosted the class for a reception at the Autozone Park for a Memphis Redbirds game.
