John Jackson Miller, author of more than 100 comics and graphic novels, will be at OPL on Tues., Aug. 6 at 5:30 under the Dome to talk about plotting and scripting. In this interview, Miller shares his life-long love of comics, new releases and some favorite projects. 
Do something different this summer. Make a three-minute (or shorter) sci-fi movie either solo or with friends. Still undecided? This short movie and this one were created using simple programs available to you in the library’s Tech Lab. 
TumbleBooks offers a fresh take on reading. This free, online resource features animated talking picture books and read-along books (in English, Spanish and French!). Fiction, non-fiction and graphic novels are available for older readers .
