Message from our CEO
Now is the time that students and their parents begin to prepare for back to school. For many it is the first time living away from home and our ReStores are a perfect place to buy furniture, lighting, small appliances and more to make their student residences functional and comfortable! Back to School prices will save you money on our already low prices. Or consider donating some of the furniture you no longer need after your students move out. As always, the proceeds from our ReStores are directed toward the operating costs of Habitat Heartland. On Forbes Street in London you can see two new homes for Jennifer and Lindsie (and their families) really starting to take shape. Also, tickets are available now for Party for Humanity: CLASSIC ROCK EDITION. Local singers will compete LIVE at the London Music Hall, September 26 for our panel of celebrity judges. Last year, VIP tickets sold out in only 2 weeks!

Robert Way: 2018 Habitat Heartland Founders' Award Winner
Rob has been an active volunteer with us since 2016. He is a semi-retired Instructor at Western, and always willing to step in and lend a hand on the London Build Site.

He is an active Crew Leader providing corporate teams with an amazing experience as he provides leadership and guidance for construction tasks. Rob was actively involved in the hands-on preparations needed when Habitat Heartland moved a house from London to Ingersoll in May 2018. He also assisted with renovating a Habitat home on Springbank Drive, restoring it to move-in condition for a new Habitat homeowner.

When Habitat Heartland appeared at the 2017 London Home Show, Rob volunteered to assist with the silent auction and sharing his passion for Habitat with Home Show attendees.
Rob is one of our longest standing build volunteers and an inspiration to many. He is a great example of the hard work and dedication that our volunteers invest in their roles.
