Join the Nutrition and Aging Resource Center's August 31 Connections Chat to meet and interact with peers from across the nation. Discuss topics that interest you, ask questions, and learn from others who are right where you are, serving older adults in their communities. The time will be used for small group discussions where participants in Zoom breakout rooms discuss whatever would be most beneficial to those in the group. Our next call will be held on Thursday, August 31 from 3:00-4:00pm CT.

Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee seeks comments


The next meeting of the 2025 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee (DGAC) will be held September 12-13, 2023. This is the third meeting of the DGAC and will include time for oral public comments. Registration for oral comments is required and opens on August 10 at 10am ET.

Social media can be a powerful tool in recruiting older adults for your Chronic Disease Self-Management Education (CDSME) and falls prevention programs.
