Get ready for fall!
OPEN HOUSE
Thursday, Sept. 8, 2022

Be on the lookout for our fall lineup of classes in theatre and visual arts coming to the website Monday 8/15.

You will find your old favorites in ceramics and adult painting there as well as some new ones - a nature walk and journaling workshop, a series on making public art, and Saturday morning art-making class!

Details about the Open House will be in the September newsletter.

🎶 New beginner piano class will be starting in September on Wednesdays at 5:45. Email the music school office for more information.

🩰 The Dance Inn begins their Fall-Winter schedule September 7th.
Summer isn't over! Campers continue to have fun with daily classes in ceramics, arts/crafts, theatre, and a maker space - we hope that your family or someone you know has been able to join us.

The new sculpture outside was created by Scout Troop 190 for the Bikeway anniversary, and brought to life by CITs last month. We can't wait to see what next week's CITs create. Both groups are learning about DEI concepts and integrating them both into the classroom as well as their unique public art this summer.

Find out what the Boston Globe article had to say about our spring sculpture!
So what is happening with that elevator??
We have been busy (busy, busy) behind the scenes working to create a design for a new elevator and accessible toilets here at MCA. There are more decisions than meet the eye (how to maintain enough parking? What happens with the HVAC?). In the past several months we have been presenting (and reworking) our design concepts with numerous Town groups, municipal departments and management, as well as our neighbors. Stay tuned as we continue to fine-tune the design. Stop by the Open House next month to learn more.

Last year donations helped to bring about scholarships for students in need, more public art projects as well as community programming, and helped us to sustain our current level of staffing.. Thank you! There is never a bad time to support the arts.
