Chill Out @ The Frost & drink in Nature all summer long Monday-Sunday, 9am-6pm
|
|
The recently opened Frost Museum of Science in downtown Miami offers much to explore within its cool, high-tech confines. Birders will be particularly wowed by The Batchelor Foundation's "Feathers to the Stars" exhibition, which follows the astounding story of flight — from winged dinosaurs, to brilliant feats of human ingenuity and the future of space travel. "River of Grass" presented by the William R. Kenan, Jr. Charitable Trust introduces junior naturalists to the mysterious wetlands ecosystem, taking them on a journey that reveals why the Everglades is one of the most precious places on the planet. In an outdoor setting that crowns the stunning 4-story aquarium, injured birds of prey are being rehabilitated as part of an exhibit that recreates "natural" South Florida habitats. It also includes juvenile crocs and gators, a gopher tortoise, mangrove trees and a specimen gumbo-limbo.

... our Sunset Drive neighbor whose waitstaff (especially Diego and Bonnie) so graciously pops back and forth, practically daily, to feed us well, keep us caffeinated and wow our visitors.
Freshealthy is just that: fresh and healthy (go figure!). The breakfast, lunch and dinner café serves great-tasting natural and organic food with attention to flavor, purity and quality. The protein is organic, the bread Ezekiel and the coffee robust.
From the day Freshealthy opened last year, CEO & Founder Davide Castellano has supported the Birds. March found him personally taking orders in our Picnic Grove during the inaugural BEE-cause Flea. April Member Migration attendees pecked the day away from a
fresca smorgasbord of healthy wraps and salads underwritten, in part, by Davide. To keep our conservation work humming, the proverbial Birds always get a discount. Importantly, too, Freshealthy's take-out packaging is biodegradable and/or recyclable.
With such generosity, goodwill and a green-minded business model, it's no wonder a second Freshealthy will soon open in Downtown Miami.
Join us in our effort to be #Freshealthy. Supporting vendors that support TAS is an easy way to contribute to our Conservation Mission. The Birds will thank you!
Open breakfast-dinner, hours vary by day.
