Welcome to week six of Confirmation! We will continue with the Ten Commandments. Watch this video to hear an introduction to this week's topic, announcements, and join in a prayer.
Step 2- Talk about the lesson
Discussion Guide
After watching the introduction video, use the discussion guide to talk, reflect, and learn more about the commandment.
Step 3 - Put it into practice
Where Faith Meets Life Practice
Each week there will be a Where Faith Meets Life Practice for each student to complete. Completion of the practice is how we will track participation and attendance. These practices are designed to help students connect the lesson for the week with everyday life.

Sixth Commandment Practice:
Think about a married couple or a couple in a long-term, committed, relationship you look up to. What is it about their relationship and the way they treat each other you find encouraging and life giving?

Please turn in your responses no later than next Tuesday, November 24. You can submit your responses by email to
  • This Wednesday, November 18 at 4:30 pm a check-in for at-home learners who are signed up for this time slot.

  • Rotation C meets in-person this Wednesday, November 18 at 6:00 pm. Participants should only join us if they feel comfortable doing so.

  • No Confirmation next week - Happy Thanksgiving!

  • After Thanksgiving we will moving the hybrid rotations to Zoom rotations for our gatherings. More information will be given in the next two weeks.

LOTS OF VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!! Friday, 12/18 & Saturday, 12/19 6:00 pm-8:00 pm each night
Volunteers of all ages are needed to help make our drive-thru nativity a great event.
Volunteers are needed to be in the drive-thru scenes (no lines to memorize or perform), help with traffic flow, work in the Bethlehem Market and other general duties. Take a look at our Sign-Up genius post for available positions. This would be a great opportunity for youth of all ages, adults and especially confirmation youth who need to earn a Faith Habit Practice. Email Cathy,, with questions or for more information.
