Where Faith Meets Life
Share your highs and lows (best and hardest part) of the week.

Why is Engaged in Learning a faith value?

What does Engaged in Learning look like for you? What motivates you to learn?

Share a time when learning something new changed your perspective, or your opinion, or your action.

How have you been influenced by words or actions of someone? Does hearing another person's story cause you to react differently or reframe what you believe?

What are the similarities between a fitness plan and practicing the faith value, Engaged in Learning?

Growing isn't always easy, but it's always worthwhile because it helps us reach our potential. -Michael W. Smith
Think of a time when learning was a challenge but helped you reach your potential.
If you believe it...
are you living it?
What ripple did you intentionally start over the last week? Was it hard to do? Do you think the ripple is still going and growing?

How do you create a ripple effect by practicing, Engaged in Learning, each day?

If you don't practice this faith value, Engaged in Learning, what ripple effect would that cause?

Select an action item off the back of the Faith Practice Card to intentionally start a ripple this week.

Do you think this will be an easy or difficult faith value to practice daily? Why?
Close with a Blessing
(Choose one of the following or create your own!)

1) Ask God to continue to bless each other and remind one another that God loves them.

2) May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord’s face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; may the Lord look upon you with favor, and give you peace.

3) Make the sign of the cross and say, (fill in name of person being blessed), child of God, remember you are marked with the cross of Christ and sealed by the Holy Spirit.
