A.D.R.O.P. invites you to its annual fundraiser, Mass and Brunch, on March  3, 2019 at our Provincial Office Chapel. The Mass of Thanksgiving
will take place at 10:30 AM and will be followed by brunch .  Please join us in breaking bread, celebrating the community, and joyfully looking towards the future.

Two Friars in the News 
Fr. Craig McMahon, O.S.A. presently teaching at Villanova University’s Business School, has received two awards for outstanding achievement and best doctoral dissertation: “The 2018 Emsley Prize” awarded by St. Edmund's College, the University of Cambridge, and “The 2018 Ellen McArthur Doctoral Prize” awarded by the University of Cambridge.
Fr. John Shea, O.S.A.   has been awarded a resident scholarship to the Collegeville Institute in Minnesota for the Fall of 2019. The project proposal is "Adult Jesus, Adult Followers, Adult Eucharist." 
Vocation Office at "Panama in the Capital"
On January 26, 2019, Fr. Joe Narog, O.S.A., our Province Vocation Director, attended "Panama in the Capital," a Catholic Festival, held at the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. The event, designed to coincide with World Youth Day in Panama, attracted over 1,300 young adults, ages 18-35. Fr. Joe represented the Augustinians at an informational table sponsored by the National Religious Vocation Conference.

At the Shrine
A Healing Mass will be held on Sunday, February 17 at 12 noon at the National Shrine of Saint Rita of Cascia in Philadelphia. Fr. Joe Genito, O.S.A. will preside. Healing Masses include Mass, with the anointing with blessed Saint Rita oil, and are followed by the Novena to Saint Rita. Come seek healing and hope from the Patroness of Reconciliation !


Fr. Richard D. Appicci, O.S.A.
February 1st marked the 12th anniversary of the death of Fr. Richard D. Appicci, O.S.A. who faithfully and humbly served the people of Chulucanas, Peru as a missionary for over twenty years. We continue to celebrate Fr. Appicci's life and work through the  Richard D. Appicci, O.S.A. Endowment for the Augustinian Missions . May he rest in peace.
