From March 6th to April 18th , Merrimack Faculty, Staff, Administrators, Trustees, and Students traveled to Italy during Spring Break in search of authentic Augustinian Community. While visiting the spaces and space important to St. Augustine’s own personal journey to find his true and authentic self and the places that gave rise to the Order of St. Augustine in the 13th Century, these pilgrims discover what is at the heart of the Augustinian search for truth, unity, and love, namely that it is found in the company of friends willing to share their own restlessness, desiring, brokenness, and experience of being found by the one who love us all as if there were only one of us.
