FREE SHUTTLES TO THE FIREWORKS

AURORA, IL - The City of Aurora is once again providing free shuttle buses for residents who are going downtown to watch the fireworks on Monday, July 4.

The annual Fireworks and Family Fun Night will be hosted at TWO downtown parks - RiverEdge Park and McCullough Park at the Prisco Center - with activities from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and the fireworks at 9:35 p.m.

From 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., shuttles will pick-up from 11 convenient locations throughout Aurora and drop-off at one of three respective downtown locations, including McCullough Park at Prisco Center, Aurora's Central Garage just north of RiverEdge Park and the Aurora Fire Museum just south of RiverEdge Park. Immediately following the fireworks, shuttles will resume service to drop-off residents at original boarding locations.

With no parking worries on the night of the fireworks, residents can choose from the following shuttle routes, park at any designate location along that route and safely ride to and from the fireworks:

BLUE ROUTE
Pick-Up Locations:

*Aurora Fire Museum, 53 N. Broadway (Broadway and New York St.)
 
GOLD ROUTE

*Indian Trail Shopping Plaza, 254 E. Indian Trail
 
Drop-Off Location:
*City of Aurora Central Garage, 720 N. Broadway (near Illinois Ave.)
 
GREEN ROUTE
Pick-Up Locations:
*Presence Mercy, 1325 Highland Ave.
*Cermak Grocery Store, 1250 Lake Street
 
Drop-Off Location:
*McCullough Park, 128 W. Illinois Ave. (next to Prisco Center)
 
ORANGE ROUTE

Residents must take same designated route back to their original parking location.  Shuttle announcements will be made from RiverEdge Park and McCullough Park throughout the evening and immediately following the fireworks.
