SOMETHING WICKED (AWESOME) THIS WAY COMES...

Do you reject the conventional? Do fluorescent lighting and indoor spaces make you crave to break free? Then you're the kind of person who should join the Renegade Science Project. Developed by the Fleet Science Center in conjunction with Museum Hack, this new outdoor experience is a fast-paced, 90-minute, interactive exploration of all the science Balboa Park has to offer. Don't forget your phone (like that's even possible!), because your Insta-worthy snaps will give your friends some serious FOMO.

neil degrasse tyson: an astrophysicist goes to the movies

Star Wars could totally happen, right? And Elsa's powers in Frozen? Completely plausible! OK, maybe not, but there are some things that the movies get right, and who better to enlighten us on the science of our favorite movies than Neil deGrasse Tyson himself?! The legendary astrophysicist will be at the San Diego Civic Theatre for one night only, so don't miss your chance to sort out fact from (science) fiction.
