It’s Father’s Day this Sunday so let’s pray for the father’s in our industry!!! May they be a positive reflection of our Heavenly Father! May the children, families and friends of entertainment fathers be drawn closer to God our Father because of the words, actions and love of their earthly fathers. One of our HPN members connected with some of the production team for THE CHOSEN, has volunteered to lead a prayer team just for the creators, cast, crew, staff, the issues and the impact of the hit TV series. Just like many productions, there are things that cause distress to those in the writers room and on the set; delays, spiritual attacks, sickness, and relational challenges, to name a few! PACHINKO : Rice = Love
Don’t give up believing in Hollywood! There is powerful and impactful content being created every day. Apple TV is releasing a new series, Pachinko, that looks into the history and culture of Korea, interwoven with beautiful story-telling. Even the actors in the show are learning about their background as Koreans growing up in America! Would you pray with us that more and more series, specials and films lift up the human spirit and encourage us to expand our territory by understanding people and cultures around the world. This is a reason to praise God for television. It can be a powerful way to celebrate other people groups across the globe!

Friends in Hollywood, Friends in Jesus!
Let’s praise God for both Candace Cameron Bure and her friend and fellow actress Danica McKellar from The Wonder Years. Candace gave a Bible to Danica and lovingly helped her come to Jesus! We are grateful for Candace’s faithful friendship and for Danica to be able to embrace the eternal and unconditional love of God. Be encouraged, there are Christians all over the industry who are humbly sharing God’s love through their personal stories and divine appointments. Please keep asking God for more bold Christians, more opportunities to love people and a readiness for industry pros to embrace the Lord.

Healing for Justin Bieber
We want to praise God and pray for our friend Justin Bieber! Justin has been boldly sharing his faith at his concerts for several years, and we want to continue to praise God for using Justin in many powerful, unknown, and unseen ways around the world. See the link of Justin preaching the Gospel at his concert in Inglewood, CA.
We also have to continue to pray for Justin, who had to cancel two Toronto shows this past week-end because he developed a virus; Ramsey Hunt Syndrome, that creates facial paralysis. Let’s pray for complete healing and for Justin to experience God’s love, strength and peace along the way!

Ozzy Osbourne needs our prayers!
Let’s pray for rock star legend, Ozzy Osbourne, who is struggling with his health, along with neck surgery this week from a fall. His beloved wife of 40 years, Sharon, will be by his side. Ozzy and Sharon both have a wild conversion story that began decades ago when their neighbor Pat Boone shared his faith with them. They are music icons who have a global impact and whose faith and marriage are a beautiful story of God’s love and faithfulness. Pray for his health, marriage, for total healing and his continued impact. We know that God loves Ozzy!

Don't Stop Praying for Disney
HPN family, we cannot stop praying for Disney and the Christians that work there! Please pray for the leadership at the Disney Corporation; there was a recent controversial firing of two top Disney Execs by CEO Bob Chapek. Although the Board of Directors backs Chapek’s decision, it appears that there was some backlash that brought the employees' morale down and caused stock prices to drop. Disney will not stop being influential, so we have to PRAY for more Christian leadership, for the wrong people to leave, and for there to be salvations throughout the company! If you want to keep up with Disney insider’s news, check out the WDW News Today on Youtube that gives the up-to-date news on all that’s happening at the Walt Disney studios, parks and films.

Austin Butler Launches into Super Stardom
We want to pray for Austin Butler, star of the new movie Elvis, which comes out on June 24th. With a role of this magnitude, playing one of the most idolized people to ever live (or die), we know that this film will launch Austin into superstardom that few actors get to experience. Please pray for Austin in these weeks leading up to the Elvis theatrical release and the years to follow. Austin grew up in a Christian home and has been around strong Christian influences, like Denzel Washington, who is the reason that Austin landed the role! We hope that Austin will continue to be around people who love God and lead him to the true source of life and value! Read the attached article, that talks about Denzel's influence on Austin.

We thank you for praising God and praying with us this week! Have a very Happy Father’s Day to all of you dads! Hug your child and pray for the children in Hollywood who would love to get a hug from their dad this week-end! Also pray for the hearts of those in the Global Entertainment Industry to welcome the Love of THE FATHER into their hearts. God loves each and every one of His precious children, even if they don't know Him yet. We want to see more and more artists receive the Father's love, and be fully restored.

CIVITAS, Campus by the Sea
CIVITAS is a weekend camp in a rustic setting on Catalina Island. Choose between several different artistic disciplines to explore either for the first time or to hone your skills in a setting with freedom to try new directions within a community setting. Attenders will be asked to choose one of several different artistic disciplines to explore: Dance, Song Writing, Acting, Film making, Photography, Painting/Drawing, Spoken Word! Inspiring faith based messages will be woven into the weekend along with time for hiking, fishing, volleyball and water sports (snorkeling, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding - all equip included). Showcase caps off a time to share creative growth.
