The TEMS PTO Welcomes Visiting Author,
Gregory Mone!

This Wednesday, October 11th, TEMS will host novelist, science journalist, speaker and New York Times Bestselling author, Greg Mone.  As a magazine writer, he has covered artificial intelligence, robots, physics and biology for magazines like Popular Science and Discover. His popular books include Fish; Dangerous Waters: An Adventure on the Titanic; The Wages of Genius and The Truth About Santa: Wormholes, Robots, and What Really Happens on Christmas Eve. Greg is currently collaborating with Bill Nye the Science Guy on a middle grade series of science themed mystery/adventure books called Jack and the Geniuses. The first in the series Jack and the Geniuses: At the Bottom of the World has been on the New York Times Best Seller list since coming out to rave reviews on April 4th.  The second in the series,
In the Deep Blue Sea: Jack and the Geniuses Book #2, is due out this month. Help your students get the most out of this program by having them read one or more of Greg Mone's books beforehand and note that he will be happy to sign books for students.  Local bookstores are preparing for his visit by stocking his titles... visit Main Point Books in Wayne, Children's Book World in Haverford or Barnes & Noble in Berwyn. Also, you can take advantage of the TEMS shopping link at Amazon.com by clicking here .
