Meet Judy Newport, Certified Community Resource Specialist
Judy started with the Autism Society Greater Cincinnati (ASGC) 25 years ago as a board member of what was then an all-volunteer, grassroots organization.  
 
She was the very first paid employee of ASGC and held a number or positions within the organization before becoming our information and resources expert. She is a trained helpline professional having been credentialed by Alliance of Information and Referral Systems (AIRS). 
 
Judy is an integral part of our helpline, answering questions, connecting families to community resources, and listening to the joys and challenges families face every day. 
 
Judy and her husband have three adult sons, one who is on the autism spectrum.

NEW Book Reviews!
Our second book is a novel by Kelly Rimmer called, "The Things We Cannot Say."

A dual narrative, weaving historical fiction with a modern-day story, the story line revolves around the main character, Alice, who has a complicated relationship with her mother, two children (one with autism), a marriage in crisis, and an ailing much loved grandmother.

PROGRAM SPOTLIGHT
Professionals Support Group
Professionals Support Group is a collaborative program between ASGC and the Regional Autism Advisory Council (RAAC), and is specifically for professionals working in the developmental disabilities field to talk about current challenges, vent, as well as receive support and encouragement in a safe, nonjudgmental forum with others who understand and relate. 
 
Why? Because professionals need support too!
