Get Involved!

If you want to make a difference in the lives of individuals with autism and their families, we would love for you to volunteer with us! Sign up for our Volunteer Email List to stay in the loop about opportunities, like our upcoming 4th Annual Golf for Autism event.

Our 3rd Annual Golf for Autism in 2021 had 100 golfers present at TPC River’s Bend, grouped into 25 foursomes that competed for a “Best Foursome” plaque for first and second place. This year, help us to ramp up the competition with more foursomes, all while enjoying the beautiful TPC course, tasty lunch and snacks, and our auction and raffle. Register today at the link below!

PROGRAM SPOTLIGHT

Severe* Autism Support Group for Parents and Caregivers

Join other parents and caregivers of children and adults who are significantly impacted by autism to share experiences as caregivers, advocates, cheerleaders, teachers, detectives, and so much more during our support group. Our next online Zoom meeting is Tuesday, September 6, at 9:30 – 11 a.m. ET.

*Severe. Profound. Significantly Impacted. These are just some of the terms used to describe people with autism who require the most intensive supports. We realize there is no consensus on how to best describe this segment of the spectrum because it is a complex issue involving multiple factors. The intention of this group is to help parents & caregivers have a space to talk through the challenges and successes of caring for someone with autism.

COMMUNITY CORNER

Buddy Walk Cincinnati is on Saturday, September 10, 2022

The Buddy Walk is the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Cincinnati's (DSAGC) signature fundraising and awareness event every year – where so many come together to celebrate the lives of people with Down syndrome in our community. With over 15,000 participants, donors and volunteers who support the DSAGC through the Buddy Walk, know that you have an opportunity to play a important role in how the DSAGC works to support individuals with Down syndrome and their families throughout the year.
