National Updates

There have been several articles (CBPP, KFF) detailing concerns for the new federal administration and significant cuts they intend to make to medicaid, which provides long term services and supports (LTSS) to many autistic individuals and their families.

The Autism Society of America has issued an action alert to let your members of congress know how important medicaid is to you and your family.

The Autism Society of America is also collecting personal stories on how medicaid cuts would impact families.

Additionally, the Center for American Progress has developed a toolkit on how the process of budget reconciliation works
