Candidate Biography

The following individual is a candidate for the credit union Board of Directors. There is one position up for election on the Board with a three-year term. Additional nominations will be taken from the floor at the annual meeting.

Mike Henry – Mike has lived in Cedar Rapids for his entire life. He worked at the Quaker Oats factory for 39 years. He has been a member of QOCU for 27 years and has served on the Board for 23 years. Mike currently serves on the Board’s Credit Committee. He and his wife, Kathy, have two daughters and five grandchildren which keep them busy. Mike likes to hunt, fish, and babysit his grandchildren during his free time. Mike also enjoys traveling.

Dividend Change

Starting on January 1, 2024, dividends will be paid monthly. Please watch for this change on your January statement, which you'll receive in the first part of February.

1099 forms will be mailed in late January to members who have earned more than $10 in interest on any checking, savings, or CD account over the past year.
1098 forms will be mailed in late January to members who have a home equity loan. We don't send 1098 forms for interest paid on any other loans.
