The
Transepithelial/transendothelial electrical resistance (TEER) measurements in the
in vitro endothelial/epithelial barrier models can be efficiently used to evaluate pharmacological modality toxicities, as well as have applications in drug discovery.
TEER measurements are precise and highly quantitative in nature. The measurements are also fast and inflict no damage to the cells. Since nothing is added externally, no tracer or radio labeled compound can potentially change the physiological aspects of your cells forming monolayers.
The REMS AutoSampler by World Precision Instruments provides the opportunity for such studies through a non-invasive methodology, which closely mimic the
in vivo environments. Download the quick overview showing some of the REMS system's applications.
REMS Automated TEER Measurement System
The robotics REMS system automates TEER measurement and data logging for use with HTS well plates. REMS is
highly reliable for evaluating the integrity of in vitro epithelial barrier models.
