Ideal for low-speed manoeuvring and cold-start use cases, Valeo's new near field LiDAR generates a 3D near field cocoon to complement camera and radar detection by determining the full shape of objects and obstacles, including in blind spots and at close range.

This novel product utilises flash LiDAR technology with high resolution within a wide field of view. Its high-performance, high-resolution plug-and-play Mobility Kit enables users to easily interface with the Valeo near field LiDAR A4 sensor to acquire depth-intensity-image and point closed via Ethernet connections.
